Before and after the cold wave in Jan 2021
The cold wave brought several new records birds for Taiwan

Bar-headed goose (Anser indicus) is a goose that breeds in Central Asia in colonies of thousands near mountain lakes and winters in South Asia, as far south as peninsular India

It is known for the extreme altitudes it reaches when migrating across the Himalayas.

We can't confirm why made it fly to Taiwan , but it attracts almost all Taiwan's birder & photographer to see it .

The book can be published, due to borrowed many bird photos from my friends, he said modestly.

Malayan Night Heron （Gorsachius melanolophus） From the English name " Malayan Night Heron " we can surmise they are mainly distributed in Malaysia and the Indo-China peninsula, but now those areas are not easy to see ( seems very diffcult ) In Taiwan, there are few fixed groups in central and southern hill area.
